Although I say that I am a runner now, a few years ago I never thought I would become a competitive runner. I did not start running until the first day of my freshman year when me and my friend both decided last minute to run. Even though I ran cross country my freshman and sophomore year, I did not start truly running until the summer before my junior year. That's when I started wanting to be more competitive in running and run with the top guys in the state of Georgia. During the spring, my school had its first track season, and it was my first track season as well. I guess you can say I am still new to the sport of running and I still have much more to learn.
