I have been a pole-vaulter since I got cut from my 7th grade lacrosse team; I needed something to satisfy my competitive spirit, so I signed up for my school’s Track team, and I immediately fell in love with the pole vault. It was during my 7th grade season that I set the goal to be a collegiate athlete.
I am competitive, however I always work hard to help my teammates in any way that I can. I love pole vaulting and work very hard at becoming the most efficient vaulter that I can be.
I am a three-season varsity athlete, competing on the varsity cross-country team, varsity diving team, and of course the varsity track and field team. Outside of sports I am a trumpet player in the Westminster Wind Ensemble. Participating in all of these activities as well as keeping a high GPA has taught me valuable time management skills that I value highly in athletics and academics. I hold myself to high standards in the classroom and in my athletic endeavors and I always give my absolute best effort.
