As a high school senior, I'm finally looking forward to my future. Looking back, I wish I had taken my first 2 years seriously. But instead, I slacked off and ruined my GPA. I'm hoping that my immaturity in earlier years will not effect my college prospects. This year, I am buckling down in both academics and athletics. I participated in Varsity Football in the 2013 fall season in order to condition for my last high school track season. I'm striving to earn a scholarship to a D1 college and study for 4-6 years to become a personal trainer. Discus throwing is something that I stumbled upon my sophomore year and quickly developed a passion for. Much of what I know about throwing is self-taught, but I can't take credit for all of my success. I am anxious to continue my sport in college and maximize my throwing potential.
