Colton Currier '14 Recruiting Profile

I have competed in varsity cross country and varsity track & field for four years, and it is a major goal for me to continue competing in college. In the past four years of cross country I have missed less than 5 practices because I believe in leading by example. As captain of the cross country team, I led my team to its first ever County Championship title and also the first District Championship title since 1999. I believe that there is nothing more important than hard work and determination to achieve goals. I always strive to do the best that I can whether it is academics or athletics. I have maintained a 3.8 GPA during high school. I would be very grateful to have the opportunity to represent a university in the classroom as well as on the track. I have set the goals of running 2:00 for the 800m, 00:52 for the 400m and 4:45 for the 1600m this upcoming Spring track season. Thank you for spending your time to view my profile.
