My goals are to be a intricate part of the track program and help my team win a Collegiate Championship. I aspire to be one of the top 400 meters runners in the world. I think that I am a great candidate for a college track program because I have been a winner/part of a winning team throughout my track career. I started running competitively at the age of 9 with an AAU team (F.I.N.E.S.S.E. TRACK CLUB) and have competed in varsity track dating back to my freshman year. I competed against some of the top high school track athletes in the US in highly competitive meets such as the Bob Hayes Invitational, Florida Relays and Texas Relays. Last year while attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida, we won the FHSAA 4A State Championship. As for my character, I pride myself on the fact that both my parents served in the US Navy. They have raised me to be a leader and a very respectful young man. This is supported by my behavioral record at my school and throughout my life. My academics are very good and have always been that way. I believe that I am a well rounded student, being able to do well in a variety of classes (from art to science).
