Hello, my name is Edwin Rosembert but i prefer Eddie. I started Track and field in the fall of 2014, and ever since then I knew this sport was the right path for me. I currently specialize in sprint events such as: 55m dash, 100m dash, 200m dash, and 400m dash. As a kid growing up I never really had interest in sports until I came into high school. I first became interested in track from my brother Peterson, he ran high school track and he specialized in mid-distance which were the 800m. During indoor season in 2014 I thought to myself this is a sport that I genuinely love I have never missed a practice since 2014 I train year round, I train in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. My ultimate goal is to pursue my track career, and run college track, and also go pro. I grew up in a Hatian household in a peaceful neighborhood, my parents were not really interested in sports, so I wanted to do something and make them proud in something that they did not do or were interested in which was running track. My coach Nick Palka is a very experienced coach he has been coaching for over fifteen years, he's never let me down, and he is always going out of his way just to make me a better runner, he is the only reason I am currently a 400m Delaware indoor state champion with a time of 50.8. For Howard High School Of Technology I am the team leader, and I always try my best to help others no matter what skill level they are at. Currently as a junior I have a 3.5 cumulative, and that comes from hard work and studying every single day while having track practice, and I still manage to get work done and perform 100% at practice. On my free time I like to either do strength workouts, read books, or customize sneakers, whatever my schedule has time for is what I do. For the most part Track & Field is a sport that I truly love, and I am always willing to get better.
