I have been running track and field since I was in lower elementary school. I love to run because I have always been pretty good at it. In eighth grade I found the triple jump. It has been my love and passion of track ever since.
Triple jump has made me enjoy track and field to the absolute fullest. I push myself to the limit in any sport I play, but when it comes to triple jump my effort is even more so. I give it my very best in the triple jump. I am always looking for more ways to get better.
Since I have done this event, I have added two feet to my personal record every year. This last year, my junior year, I upped my record to 40 feet 5 1/4 inches at the state level competition. This jump landed me just shy of the finals. I was very disappointed but was also proud as that meet was only the third time I had jumped that season.
In school I aspire to be a great student. I maintain a great GPA. I do my best in my classes knowing that they will eventually lead to my life career. I do play three sports, but to me academics are more important. Grades come before games.
