Anthony Willert '16 Recruiting Profile

I am an easy going type of guy who wants to attend college and keep running. I started running track in 9th grade when my wrestling coaches saw something in my running ability and had me join the team. I began running cross country in 10^th grade. I am very committed to all sports I am engaged in, and am looking for a school that will allow me to do what I love and give me an education I can count on. This year has been a breakout season for me achieving two personal records, and running is now a part of me. I am a great team member and am one of the varsity team captains for my senior season. My athletic goals are to run at least a 16:30 5k, place top runner in league, and regionals and top 10 at state. My track goals for this season are to improve my mile time to a 4:30 and to qualify and place at state.
