I first started running track my sophmore year. I mostly did it for fun though until my coaches seen my speed and what I was capable of doing with it on the track, and that's when people started to know my name. My junior year I that's when I started to take track seriously. I competed in state and showcased my skills and had coaches and fans shocked. That's when I knew I wanted to go to college and run track.
I am hardworking and blessed. I am from a country in the West part of Africa called Liberia. I had to come to the U.S with my uncle because of the wars in my country and how dangerous it was. My goal is to make it to the Olympics one day by working hard, and bring my Mom and Dad here to the U.S also.
I'm not the best in school, but I try. Me coming to America not knowing much, and not knowing how to read or write made it difficult for me to learn. I struggle learning in school, I can't lie, but I'm learning a lot and hoping that I can take that information with me when I go to college.
