My goal as a student athlete is to go to a college that not only suits me academically, but athletically. This past year as a junior I had an unfortunate injury that kept from running at 100% for the entire season. None the less I was still able to PR in both my events and make CIF for the second consecutive year. Being a senior this year I know this is my last chance to prove myself to coaches. One of the things I plan on doing to help prove myself is switching my primary event to the 800 which my coaches and I think will suit me more as a runner. Now that I'm back to 100% I know that I'm set to have a break-through season with my goal times being 1:53.00 for the 800 and 48.00 for the 400. Through my unrelenting dedication, hard work, and leadership I plan on showing every coach why I deserve to be on their team.
Apart from track I consider myself to be reliable in the class room striving for straight A's each semester. My goal is for the coaches to never have to worry about if I'm eligible to run or not.
I appreciate you taking your time to review my profile. Thank you for your consideration.
