I possess the essential qualities that are imperative for a collegiate athlete. Throughout my life, I've been challenged to compete at a high level in academics, athletics (track and field & baseball) as well as classical piano. I learned at a young age that even with a gift, one must still work hard in order to develop. I intend to continue to live by this standard.
I plan on earning a bachelor's degree in biology, while competing in a university's track and field program. Following this, I aspire to receive a medical degree and become a surgeon. I feel that I will be an asset to any track and field program as I compete at an elite level academically and athletically. I am a reliable and upstanding individual who will give 110% effort academically and athletically. I have an impeccable record for staying academically eligible while performing at an intense level. I have competed in league finals and CIF State prelims every year. I have a great outlook on life. I am a follower of Christ and I come from a large family grounded in the Christian Faith. I serve at my school, church , and my community. Someday, I would like to help those in third world countries who need medical care.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to perform under pressure. I currently run the 100m in 11.1 seconds . My other events are thee 4x100m, 4x400m, and the 200m. If blessed with a scholarship I will strive to develop not only as an athlete, but as a scholar and a man.
