Cory Sears '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Cory sears and I'm from down south Alabama. I've been running track and field for three years going on my fourth. My main event is pole vaulting. My personal record is currently 13'6". I have made it to state in pole vaulting my freshman to junior years so far. my sophomore year i won 2nd place in sectionals. I have also competed in junior Olympics. I'm also a sprinter/jumper/thrower. I'm 5'7",130 pounds, and can do it all. I love every single thing about track and hope to take it to the next level. sophomore and junior years i was rewarded with "best jumper" and "best field" award plaques. i have won county all three years in pole vaulting. I am a hard worker when it comes to my track life. I'm looking for a good school with a good pole vaulting program. As a major i haven't really decided yet.Thank you for reading.
