Jake Humphreys '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Humphreys. I am a junior at Tremper High School in Kenosha, WI. I feel the biggest asset I can bring to a team is my ability to drive and inspire my teammates to reach beyond their potential. I have an intense work ethic and challenge myself to my limits everyday. I NEVER "dog" it during practice and I leave it all on the court during matches. All of my coaches have always said that I am extremely coachable and that I do inspire my teammates to work to my level of performance. Most importantly I am looking for a college that I can make an immediate impact on. I am not opposed to hard work and I am up for any challenge, on the court and in the classroom. I understand that results are based on what you put in, and I believe my best is yet to come. I currently have not chosen a major of study yet, but I am considering engineering or business. I am not opposed to any geographic region for college, and would look to find a college that offers the best overall balance of academic excellence and competitive tennis.
