Ever since I had my first tennis lesson, I felt something different about tennis than I had about any other sport. From the time I started playing tennis until now the passion for the game has never ceased. My goal is to play tennis in college, and see where I can take it from there. What makes me different from other recruits is the fact that I had not been playing tennis for as long as my competition, yet I am still able to keep up with and defeat those who have started playing tennis at the age of six. Proof of this is how I already have two USTA trophies. I am a very dedicated individual who pours his heart into the sport of tennis. My family has a great history in tennis as well. My uncle started playing tennis late, but like me, he was still able to keep up with the competition. He eventually went on to play in the U.S Open.
Unfortunately, my high school Pope John Paul the Great does not have a tennis team. However, I am still able to train at tennis clinics at the Montclair Tennis Center in Woodbridge. There I am able to work with experienced coaches, and hit with USTA tournament players and improve my game.
