Tj Kittrell '11 Recruiting Profile

Important characteristic of me as an athlete is that I am solid 6'4" 240 lbs of complete competitiveness. I have a nice long running stride and have good speed for a big man... I have soft hands and quick reflexes at the net with powerful strokes behind it. I have been playing tennis since the age of ten. My greatest accomplishments for this sport would be going to state three years in a row with a different partner each year and making the state doubles finals my freshman and sophomore year and the semifinals my junior year. I have been all regional and all state for the part three years. I am pleased that I have helped to develop a future team for my school so when I graduate there will be players left to continue. I compete at the highest level in everything I do. I can offer your team lots of good qualities like being a team leader. I attended a leadership program in Washington, DC when I was in the eighth grade and learned important qualities that have helped me in high school. I am captain of the acappella choir, drum line for four years, tennis for four years, basketball for one year, and the Junior Coordinator of Chandlers Tennis Club this past summer. I work extremely hard in everything I do. I have played against many college players and that causes me to raise my tennis level. I am always one of the first out on the court playing and I encourage everyone on the courts to play their best. I have always wanted to play college tennis since I was in the eighth grade. I would like to go to school somewhere in the Southwest and prefer attending a medium size school. I am looking to pursue a career in the medical field and am leaning toward orthopedic sports medicine because I feel that is where I am best suited. I have always been closely associated with athletics and this will keep me connected after my collegiate career. I would like to attend a school that is looking for a competitive player who is very encouraging to everyone and I will give 110%. I feel that I can compete at the DII level or even a DI level. I have many positive traits to bring to your team and your school. You will not be disappointed!!!
