Matthew Jimenez '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Matthew Jimenez, and I am a Student - Athelete. I have been playing tennis for only four years, so I have room for a lot of improvement. I am a Champ in the Texas level ranking system; continuing to play tournaments 2 to 3 times a month. I am currently ranked number 1 on my varsity team, and also team caption. I have an all court type of game which will continue to develop and will really maximize my potential. I'm a singles player that could contribute well in doubles. Academically I am very solid and am currently taking AP classes this senior year. Additionally I have trained at the perstegious Newks Tennis Academy, for the past 2 summers. I come from a solid foundation at home with very supportive parents. I'm very active in my local church and have been able to surround myself with good quality friends. My goal is to play collegiate tennis while pursuing my degree.
