Colter Mahlum '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Colter Mahlum and I live in Bigfork Montana. I love it here because of the beauty that comes with it. I am currently attending Bigfork High School with very high grades. I am no ordinary or regular student athlete, I am a student that wants to make something of myself, and prove myself to others. I want to pursue extreme goals and have a great passion for being a leader. I get a 4.0 in school and strive to be the best in my class. I also love to work with others. Helping others to succeed brings me joy and love doing it. So im a student athlete that not only wants to perform on the court, but perform in my education and in my life. I have this commitment like no other kid. I will put in the hours to make something great, then put in even more hours to perfect it. Put me on the tennis court and I will never quit, never get down, and always want more. All this while being a kind person to all other people. Any coach that is wanting to cantact me to recruit me or just talk to me, I will always be interested in them, not just pass them along and wait for other people to contact me. My current weight is about 175 lbs., im about 5'10", I have quite agility on my feet, and I have the endurance to last a life time and still be an animal. I am in tennis at my school for all four years and I am a junir right now. We took state last year in class 7B. I am a team leader on the court and I try to be the hardest working kid on the team. I am always the first to get on the court and the last to leave after I hit with coach after every practice. It is my dream, and always have been, to play tennis in college, and hopefully continue on after schooling. I have always wanted to play after high school for a college and I ppromise them that I will give it my all on the court, and give it even more after others have given up. I am the kid that will never give up. I am open to all schools that want to recruit me or cantact me. I dont care about the geographical location of the school, just that I can play tennis there. I am open to all sizes of schools and all sizes of divisions if it gets me on the court for college. My desired major is engineering. Aeronuatical and aerospace engineering is my favorite that I wish to pursue. Even going into the military to work for their engineering would be great as well. My realistic athletic goal is to play at any level of tennis for any college. I am open to all who are looking at me for college in acedemic or athletic opportunities.
