Douglas Kubek '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been a true team player all 4 years at Grosse Pointe South High school.  I have played many different positions and have excelled at each level that my coach needed me.  I was elected a captain for my senior year.  My goal is to play division 3 tennis and pursue a challenging academic curriculum as well.  I have always forged new relationships and have a variety of friends that come from my travel soccer team and my high school tennis team.  I have always worked well with my coaches and my team.  My leadership skills were developed by first being a good servant to my team and coaches.  I have been completely loyal to the goals and objectives of the team at GP South HS.  While at GP South, I also became involved in community service work through the USTA teaching urban socio-economically challenged children and also through the Grosse Pointe Neighborhood Club with maintenance of the home GP South tennis courts.
