Personal Statement

My name is Henry Ayesiga. I'm 19 years old and a sophomore at Cerritos College in California. I was born in Kampala, Uganda but spent most of my childhood in Nairobi, Kenya where I attended both middle and High School. I played for the Uganda National Tennis team as a junior player and carried my country's flag for local and various international tennis events in the sport of tennis. I led my High School team to 3 consecutive National Tennis Championships playing at #1 and #2 singles in East Africa. I was ranked among the top three best players in Africa by the Confederation of African Tennis and ITF as a Junior player. I'm a Kinesiology major with a Universal Tennis Rating(UTR) of #12 and seeking to transfer so I can further my education.
