Stephen Washuta '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3" heavy hitter from Newburgh, Indiana graduating in 2011. I have started on Evansville Memorial High School varsity tennis team for four years straight. In my junior year I was selected second team all-state while recieving all-state honorable mention my sophomore year. I currently obtain a 4.71 GPA on 6.0 scale, and scored a 1620 on the SAT. Preferably I would like to attend an institution located relativeley close to home, on the west coast or down south. The university should be relatively big while also exhibiting the college town atmosphere. International Business is one of the majors I am interested in studying. I am just looking to play tennis no matter what spot I earn on the team. I am open to any division but would prefer DI or DII institutions that contain a tough schedule so I can further my atheletic skills. Academics is a main focus so the school should be challenging.
