Matthew Hirsh '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matt Hirsh and I am a senior from Glen Ellyn, IL. I have played Varsity tennis in the #1 singles position since my freshman year and have been an All Area Conference and State Qualifier each year. I have a 5.7/5.0 GPA and have had a very rigorous class schedule. I am looking for a school where I can find the right balance between academics and tennis. I hope to be able to contribute early on and improve my game. I am currently undecided on a major, but am interested in math & science. My preference would be a smaller school and financial assistance is important to me. Some schools that I have visited and have interest in are Swarthmore, University of Richmond, Colby, Carnegie Mellon, Wash U, Williams, Pomona, Bowdoin, Skidmore, Wake Forest and Brown. I realize that some of these D1 or Ivy schools may not be an option for me to play tennis at but I am interested in them as academic institutions.Athlete Preferences
