Summer 2012Personal Statement
When I stepped onto the court for the first time I knew that tennis would become a life-long passion. I started playing tennis when I was 14 years old so I had to make up for lost time. I have to work as hard as possible. Whether on the court or in the gym, I always give a 100% effort. As an athlete, I aspire to become the best tennis player that I can possibly be. Right now, my primary goal is to become an important addition to a university's tennis team. Long term, I hope to have a career connected to sports. That might involve sport medicine/physical therapy, or it might be in a sports-oriented business.
