2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a self-motivated swimmer and I hope to continue this experience at the collegiate level. I want to attend a mid-size college (4,000+ students) in an urban setting that will push me to be the best student as well as the best swimmer that I possibly can be. I am interested in pursuing a career in the in the science field with emphases in biology and business and want to attend a school where I do not need to transfer schools to receive my degree. I'm a good team leader and support my teammates as best as I can. I am also a very dedicated student with a high GPA. This involves making schoolwork my number one priority. Swimming has helped me with my work ethic as well as time management skills given the early morning wake-up calls for swim practice. I hope that after my four years, I will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the working world in large part due to my collegiate athletic experience.
