Robert Burke '15 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals would be to drop time in all strokes, to make NCAA cuts,  and to help my team win their conference championship.  I feel I would be a good candidate for any team because I am a very hard worker in the pool and enjoy all aspects of training including dry land and weight training. I have always taken pride in leading my lane in practice and encouraging other team mates to do their best.  While I may not be the tallest  or the fastest swimmer on my team, I still stand out because of my willingness to embrace hard work with a positive attitude and infectious spirit.  Just as  I have never backed down from challenges in the pool, I don't back down from challenging courses in school.  I enjoy taking AP and honor classes because I know they will make me a better student.  It is this work ethic that will someday give me the opportunity to be the best that I can be and sets me apart from other swimmers.  This is what makes me a great candidate for any team.
