Every since i was a little kid I have wanted to swim for a college team. I am 100% dedicated to achieving that goal. I want to know what it's is like to swim on a college team, I want to know how it feels to be a part of "the family" that all the college coaches talk about when they talk about their team. I am a good candidate because I am fully aware of the commitment and time consumption of swimming. I know what needs to be done in the pool, as well as out of the pool, to name one example homework. Time awareness is important and it is something that I have been working on for a while now so that I prepared for the time commitment and so that it does not shock me when i get there. Furthermore I have been swimming ever since I was 7, i first swam for Blue Waves, but after one season/year I transferred to NCAP formally known as Curl Burke. I swim for the Senior group at NCAP we have morning practice 5-7:30 Monday through Friday and Sunday 7-9. I have always considered myself to be a nice and kind person, and many of my teachers have always said that and more about my character. I hold myself to a high pedestal on being nice to everyone, but I'm also comfortable with joking around with friends and trying to have a good time with everyone. My academics are a very important part of my life, high school has been a very hard adjustment for me, from elementary school all through middle school I was able to not put forth 100% effort and still get all A's and maybe a B or two here and there. This adjustment to high school has taken a couple years for me to get used to, but my grades are showing my effort and adjustment to having to work hard in school.
