My goals in college swimming are to work hard and help others to do the same, while achieving the best education I can. I believe that I would make a great addition to any team due to my team spirit and my desires for my teammates and I to perform at the best of our abilities, not just as individuals but as a team as well. I had a late start in swimming compared to most of my teammates, but because of a strong work ethic and desire to succeed I rapidly made large amounts of progress in just a short time, and I am confident that I will see greater gains in the in very near future. I stand out academically, especially in mathematics. Despite a unique rigorous dual-credit program where greater than 80% of my academic workload has been AP and college courses, I have maintained a high attendance record being absence from swim practice only during illness.
