Micah Cattell '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1", 160 pound sprint freestyler from State College, PA. I have participated at the high school level since my freshman year and will graduate in 2012. I have competed at the State level all three years and am All-State and All-American in the 50 freestyle. I have been described by my coaches as a natural born leader of the team. I  also swim for the State College Area YMCA.The past two years, I qualified and swam at Winter Nationals and in 2011, I made C finals in the 50 freestyle.

I am looking for a college that has excellent academics and athletics. I am open to colleges of all sizes from across the Nation. Financial assistance is very important to me and my family. I am interested in Education as a course of study. I would like to be challenged as a swimmer and to surpass what I have accomplished thus far in my swimming carreer. I would also like to be contributer to my team.
