I never really took swimming all that seriously when I was younger. I didn't even swim more than summer league before my Junior year of High School. My junior year i decided to swim for the team. I went to regionals and did pretty well. So i decided to swim again my senior. One of my friends from summer swim told me about her year round swim team. She kept asking me to come. So eventually I went and continued to go. The people and coach were nice. I didn't realize how much it was helping me until my first meet. I went from a 25:20 to a 24:79 in a little over a month of Swimming year round. I continued to train quite a bit and it eventually led me to Regional Champs and then States. I dropped 4 seconds on my 100 Free in the one race at Regionals. I went to the State Championships in the 50 and 100 Freestyle. It was an honor to go there. I dropped a total of 2 seconds in my 50 free in a little over 4 months of training. I will continue to drop time.
