D. Ryan Mathes '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Mathes and I am currently a Junior attending Panther Creek High School in North Carolina.  I swim year-round for the North Carolina Aquatic Club and also for my high school team.  My biggest goal since I began swimming at age 11 was to swim in college and that is still my goal today.  I love the sport and I love the team aspect that comes with swimming for a school.  Nothing is more exciting than swimming on relays and supporting my teammates throughout a meet.  I aim to help my teammates by setting a good example through both my swimming and my character.  I currently do not have a dream job or even field of study, but I am a good student and when I find what interests me the most I will work my hardest to achieve in that field.  I look forward to going to college and cannot wait to find the perfect school for me.  I know there are many options out there and I have an extremely open mind about what school I want to attend.
