2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I live on a small island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. There is no High School Swim League and swimming is not a popular sport. Most of my meets I have to travel by airplane to compete. My club has had 5 different head coaches in the past 5 years, I personally have had 7 different coaches. To spite these challenges I have continued to excel and my love of the sport has never waivered. I work hard in school and in the pool and strive to make my parents and grandparents proud of the sacrifices they have made for me. I have been named " most dedicated swimmer" by my club mates, and "swimmer of the year" by the provincial board of swimming and its coaches. I would like the opportunity to take my swimming to a higher level while achieving a degree in business administration.
