Stephen Benvenuto Jr. '14 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming for my club coach for five years. He was a distance swimmer for the University of Texas and my training has been very similar in many aspects and very challenging. I train short course yards and train long course in a 50 meters pool. He intended our training to ready us for our college swimming careers. My training has been swimming and dry land and no weight training. Because I live near the Jersey Shore I compete in ocean mile swims for fun during the summer.

I chose my high school because it is one of most challenging academically in New Jersey and has an excellent reputation for having their graduates attend some of the most highly ranked colleges in the country. CBA has a very strong athletic program also. Our team has won four state championships in a row and we are going for five in a row next season. I have been chosen as one of the captains for the team for the 2013-2014 season.

I am interested in attending a college with a strong business program and swim for a coach and a team that will help me to meet the goals I have set for myself in the pool. I would like to discuss these goals with you and to also learn more about your program.
