Personal Statement
My goal is to swim at a college where I feel challenged by my team mates. I have been swimming competitively for nearly five years, and my favorite aspect of swimming is having people that keep pushing me to improve. I have no preference in terms of division level, but I do want to be a part of a team where I can actually compete and continue to improve my times. I believe that comradery is an important factor to swimmers and that support from team mates allows athletes to perform better. As a swimmer, I hope to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Trials, and attend national-level meets such as the US Open championships along the way.
