Through the college experience I hope to gain a fundamental understanding of my field of study and myself as an athlete. During my time in college and after, devotion to academics and athletics will be foremost in my life. I enjoy the competition and the dedication required to progress and love this difficult sport. This is a feature of mine that has driven me to success both in the pool and in the classroom. I hope to pursue all of life’s endeavors with an attitude that every challenge will make me stronger and smarter.
