A large part of my life has been based around swimming and school and I think they go hand-in-hand. Swimming has taught me many things throughout my life. Things like responsibility, sportsmanship, hard work and leadership. The reason I would like to swim in college is to continue to learn things from this sport. In swimming I've had many achievements. My greatest and most recent achievement was March of this year when I completed my goal for this season and won the 100 Backstroke at the Men's D3 High School State Meet in Michigan. Academically, I've been enrolled at Detroit Country Day School since Pre-K 3 and it's been a challenge every year. I've been pushing myself in school with academics and athletics for as long as I can remember and I have no regrets for all the effort that I've put into my academics. Throughout the years I've learned to find a happy medium between my three most important things family, school, and swimming. I look forward to these factors being with me the remainder of High School and throughout College.
