Lucas Brewton '14 Recruiting Profile

To be able to swim for a college team has been a dream of mine since I started swimming my freshman year. I knew from the beginning this was going to be something I would fall in love with. Swimming has taught me so much and really changed me as a person. I am always eager for improvement and any chance I get to improve I take it.

I am a great leader in the pool and outside the pool. My teammates look up to me and that is something I value highly. What I love most about swimming is the fact that although it is a very competitive sport, it is a very friendly environment and my teammates are like my second family.

This is why I do not want my swim career to end this year. I want to further my experience and get the chance to swim on a college level. I know this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am going to take it seriously every step of the way.
