I am hoping to study either Biology or History in an academically challenging university. I have been fortunate to travel a lot in the U.S. and am open to location. I hope to play soccer in college.
I am very proud of my high school varsity team's accomplishments. Our school has had a program for only five years, four of which I have been a varsity starter along with a very close, core group of team members. We won our conference for the first time ever for our school this year. I've attached press articles about the pivotal games. Last year we placed third in our conference after finishing near last in prior years. This year, as of October 12, 2013, I have 35 goals and am ranked 3rd in the state of Wisconsin for total goals scored and also in overall points.
I play year-round in the very competitive Minneapolis-based St. Croix Soccer Club, and take what I learn to my high school season.
I play best in a 4-4-2, but I am also comfortable playing as a center forward in a 4-3-3 formation. I am comfortable playing either a #9 role or more of a forward in the pocket role, as I have played on numerous teams that have expected different things of me. In my past 4 years in High School, I have scored more goals with my head and left foot than I have with my right foot, and I would be happy to play any attacking role available.
