Justin Solomon '11 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Justin Solomon. I'm a 5-9, 145 pound midfielder from Vancouver, Washington. I consider my biggest strenghts to be my creativity, passing vision, awareness and team defending but I can also create and score goals. My coaches have told me my ball handling skills and passing ability are top notch. I'm currently the captain of my high school team and my leadership style is a mixture of leading by example and vocally so I always try to be the hardest working player on the pitch.
My most important soccer accomplishments follow:
1. I'm a central midfielder on the Seattle Sounders U-18 Academy. We've been ranked in the top 6 nationally out of all academies for most of the year and are seeded 7th going into the playoffs. http://www.soundersfc.com/Team/Academy-Teams/Academy-Players-U18/Justin-Solomon.aspx
2. ODP:  2010 Region IV ODP regional team. We defeated the other 3 regions in the Interregionals.  Played 5 years ODP:  (3 years for Oregon; 2 years for Washington).
4. High school:  As a senior midfielder/forward I had 17 goals and 13 assists and was team MVP.
5. I participated as a guest player in the 2010 Surf Cup Super Group and scored a goal in the 2010 Disney Showcase Academy Division.
     I'm open to attending school in any geographic location.  I've narrowed my academic interests down to business (marketing) or sports journalism.
     I'd like to find a college program that will allow me to be creative on the field and to play enough that I can contribute.  I've been playing top level competition for many years and am confident I can compete and excel at any college level.
