Personal Statement

My name is Connor Seed and I live in Snohomish, WA.  I am in my Senior year at Glacier Peak High School in Snohomish, WA and will graduate in 2016.  I currently play for the Snohomish United RCL Division I program.  Playing college soccer is something that would add to my overall college experience and allow me to grow individually and contribute to the success of the school and the soccer program, but my primary goal is to obtain a college degree for my future goals and successes in life.  Academically, I would like to pursue a technical degree in the engineering field or construction management area but have not settled at this time.  I was fortunate enough to play with the U16 Snohomish United team that won the National US Club Championship in Denver 2013.  I have been selected to participate in a highly competitive ODP team for the past 4 years and was named to the "All Tournament" team at the Region IV ODP championships in 2014.  I have also been named to the player pool for Region IV in 2013 and 2014 for the 1998 boys.  I have an excellent work ethic that drives me to be the best athlete/student possible and I do not like failures of any kind either academically or athletically, although I have used my failures to motivate me to work harder and smarter.   I also enjoy participating in high school basketball where I am a varsity player (point guard) as a sophomore, playing basketball keeps me fit and adds to my overall athleticism.  I was a starting midfielder as a freshman, sophomore and junior for Glacier Peak High School in Washington state and was also the team captain..  My biggest assets are commitment, quickness, speed with the ball, vision, and ball control.  I work hard to keep in shape and weight train to increase my personal strength.  I look forward to the challenge that collegiate soccer brings.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
