Coach,
My short term goal is to play Division I or II soccer for four years. Soccer is my passion and has been a very significant part of my life. I am confident I would not only contribute to your team but be an impact player that helps you get results. My strengths include (but are limited to) my soccer IQ and understanding of the game, speed of play, and field awareness. My size and confidence on the ball allow me to penetrate the gaps with quick passes or hold off players while creating space in behind for 2nd or 3rd man running. I love to make other players look great and am not interested in being a one man show, in short I am a playmaker and would love to help your team achieve a division title or more. My work ethic and organizational skills allow me to achieve a very high standard while managing my time. I will not settle for anything but finishing in four years with high honors. I don’t believe my SAT scores adequately reflect my intelligence or abilities to achieve success in or out of a classroom. I have carried all AP classes, while volunteering, and playing soccer full time with straight A’s. Post graduate, I would love to continue in business or sports management for a career.
Kindly,
Cobey Berto
