Ian Mateer '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ian Mateer from Haymarket, Virginia I am currently a junior at Battlefield High School and will be graduating in 2017.  At this time I play right back and center back for my club team Loudoun 98 Red and I also play for my Battlefield High School varsity team.  My height is 5’8” and my weight is 150.  I have been playing competitive soccer since the age of 5.  My accomplishment in the last few months are winning 2015 State Cup and the Disney showcase.  My club team’s 2015-2016 record is 28-6-3.  Other accomplishments are winning state cup in 2010 and 2012. Winning a region 1 championship in 2010. I have also been a part of the ODP District and state team from 2012-2014 and I was also a part of the ODP Region I Pool roster from 2013 and 2014. As a Freshman I was awarded an honorable mention and for my sophomore year I was awarded 2nd team all-district.
