Faith, that's all my father had in me from the moment I kicked the soccer ball with my left foot instead of my right. Coming into contact with this sport and achieving marvels would've never been possible if it wasn't for my dads faith in me to join this sport from the moment he arrived into my life. Little did I know that I would actually fall in love with this sport and that I actually wanted to do more when I become older like playing college ball at a competitive level. Playing this sport for almost 10 years now seems like a life time but it has taught me many things about myself and has influenced who I am today as a person. For instance, I have learned to become a leader for others when rough times are coming along but also learned to be responsible for my actions because anything I would do my teammates would follow. This then influenced me to be a very cautious person but also to be a very motivational person that encourages my teammates on game days or to get their grades higher so there eligibility wouldn't be taken away. By having so much influence, my goals then became clear as to what I wanted to achieve in high school but also in college. I wanted to achieve a goal of having a GPA higher then or close to 3.5, but also being highly involved in my school. I wanted to show that my school was truly the best and so far I've done that. My plans for college is to not only work hard in my classes to have my career set, but to play college ball as well as enjoying my time there to have the college experience everyone talks about because none of my parents have made it past High school making me be the first to experience anything more after completing high school. Of course, completing high school has been a rough thing for my because of all the obstacles I've had to face. Things such as not receiving play time for one full season, failing one class, and isolating myself when things weren't going great at home. Thankfully, I was able to pull myself out of this and made excellent progress to cover up all those wholes I made for myself. To end with, the skills and characteristics I obtain is something that has made me stick out from a group of people. Disciplinary skills are what characterize me as a whole because my mentality for things such as soccer is very strong. I tend to never give up until I finally reach my goal of what I desire for and If i don't meet that goal and fail, I get right back up not letting myself fall in another whole. Having so much faith in my has really triggered me to be the human being I am today. Nothing matters more to me then accomplishing my goals and finding ways to get there is all I will be doing to get to my destination.
