Manuel Torres '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Manuel Torres and I graduate in 2015. I've been playing soccer since I can remember and it's been my life. I am a starter on the Keller Timber Creek High School Varsity Soccer team and I am the captain of  the Dallas Texans 97 Boys White FTW. I also played for the Dallas Texans 97B red FTW team and I run Varsity cross country for Keller Timber Creek. I take free-kicks for my club team and have played the entire game for most of the games. I have assisted multiple goals and scored once as a center back.For High School,I was voted MVP of the JV squad my freshman year by my fellow players and coaches, I played center back, left back, right back, and defensive midfielder. I am a dedicated athlete, whether while playing soccer or running, and will sacrifice everything to get my team a win. I hope to one day compete at the top level but i wish to study journalism, teaching, or sports marketing. I'd someday like to inform the world of the sport I love, or, teach youth what I know about it by coaching. I hope to someday be able to compete at the collegiate level and thank you for reading my personal statement.
