Ulysus Torres '11 Recruiting Profile

MY name is Ulysus Torres i have just turned 18 years of age and weight 161 pounds and measure 5'11 in height. I also run a 4.33 in the 40-yard dash and run the one mile run in 4 minutes and 55 seconds. I have made 1st team All- City and also 1st team All-District. I have been playing soccer for 12 years now and counting, MVP for club/travel team also captain for the Two time Texas State Champs, and I also play with the #1 ranked team in South Texas.I have also been recently identified by the MLS team Huston Dynamo and have been invited to Houston to play for the Houston Dynamo Academ. JUst in this past year alone have attended some of the countries biggest showcases and tournaments.I have also played foreingly in Brazil. The past two years I have played along side with Omar Salagado who was this past year's 2011 MLS #1 draft pick. It has been my life's goal to play soccer at the college level. I have been captain to many of the club/travel teams including state champs and high school programs, and have been dedicated and committted to soccer 100 percent. I have a love and a passion for this sport and will do whatever it takes to play at the college level which I find to been in the past few years highly competitive. I have a great work ethic and a positive attitude and always get along with my fellow teammates. It doesn't even matter to me what college soccer leads me too, like I said it would just be a dream come true to be playing soccer at the college level. My family is in definite need of some sort of financial help in order to help me to get through college, whether federal aid/grants or even scholarship money which I am really hoping for.I would like to study either medicine or criminal justice in college, but not really narrowed it down completely yet. My realistic athletic goals is definitely to play at the highest level of soccer that I can possibly play at. Also to play all four years of my college career with an university and to just have a positive impact on the program that I am apart of.
