My name is Mason Clark I have a strong desire to be on the pitch it is something that I have wanted to do since I was young. My drive to play is only matched by my drive to succeed in academics. The sports medicine trainer at my school has been instrumental in both keeping me in the game and helping me decide what I want to do as a career. Among my many achievements I have made all tournament 2 years running the first as a freshman, I have started every game my freshman year and was the scoring and assist leader for my High School team as a freshman. I was part of the Division III state championship team for Clarksville KAOS as well as making a run in Division II the next season. I am now on the Tennessee United Soccer Club Division I team and am looking forward to the challenges associated with fitting into a new team and bettering myself through hard work and discipline towards my goal of playing in college and above. My family has made sacrifice after sacrifice for me to continue to play at a higher level and I have worked harder at everything I do to make sure that those sacrifices are not done in vain. The desire I have to play if given the opportunity will show through, for I believe that leadership should be done by example not title.
