Charlie Boehms '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Charlie Boehms, I currently play soccer for the Royals Futbol Club in Clarksville, TN and I will be a senior at Rossview High School where I play soccer and golf. My club team has finished 2nd in the Division II State Tournament two years in a row and we recently made it to the Semi-finals of the Region III President's Cup. In this past high-school season my team advanced to the Regional Semi-Finals, and I received the All-District Tournament Team award, the All-District Team award, and I was also named to the All-Area Team. I am in National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society and have a 3.6 GPA. I really want to play soccer in college at the highest level that I can. I think my best qualities on the soccer field are: my ability to see the field and get the ball to the player in the most optimal position to threaten the goal, my corner kicks, crosses, long throw-ins, and my will to win. I believe I am most effective playing outside mid-field(either side), but I also believe I have the ability to play any position on the soccer field that I am needed, aside from goalkeeper. After college I want to be some sort of athletic trainer. I really just want to play.
