Stefan Balan '17 Recruiting Profile

I grew up in a great family with beautiful values. Our parents guide us and support us all along the way. Our well being and education was always a priority. I have been playing soccer since a very young age and my father was my first mentor. Due to my family european roots, soccer is a tradition and for me it's not just a sport but also a lifestyle. Through soccer I became the person I am today. Disciplined, hard-work and determination are some of the qualities that represent me. My goal and desire is to play at the collegiate level in the United States. This will be for me a lifetime opportunity to develop myself as a student-athlete at a very high level. As an athlete, I have strong physical qualities, great work ethic, great discipline, hard working person and most of all I'm consistent in my performances. I am a strong team player, excellent communication on the field, good balance, good reading of the game and composed when in possession of the ball. School is also very important to me. As a student, I work constantly to keep my grades high, in class I have a good relationship with my teachers and my colleagues, based on respect of their work and help. I'm reliable and trustworthy.
