Reese Fisher '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 6 feet tall and 165 pounds and am quick to the ball. I have a good reaction time and can read the game well in the middle of the field and can also predict the flow of the game. I feel that I identify the strengths and weaknesses of the players that I am playing with well. This helps me in my decision making during the game. The summer after my freshmen year, I went to Brazil with the head coach of Penn State at the time, Barry Gorman. Along with the other four players I went with, we trained with an academy in Riberiao for around 4 or 5 days and then went and toured Rio de Janiero. While touring, we trained on the beach and then participated in a pick up beach soccer game, which was a truly different game than any soccer game I have played in. The beach was difficult to play on and the competition was superb. Nonetheless, I had a good time and was able to see a professional soccer match the first night we were in Rio.
