Thomas Fitzgerald '17 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Melbourne Australia where I first started playing soccer when I was five years old. For as long as I can remember I've wanted to play soccer at the collegiate level. Soccer is my passion in life and I am looking for the opportunity to be able to play at the next level. 

I'm currently playing for Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon and am looking for the opportunity to play at a four year university starting in either 2018 or 2019. I think my strengths on the field are my ability to read the game, score goals and fight for every loose ball. I pride myself on my high work rate and strong leadership ability which I have exemplified on and off the field through captaining my club team and volunteering for my local youth soccer club over the years.

I'm open to all options and am just looking for a school that is a good fit both academically and athletically.
