Austin McKinney '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Austin McKinney. I'm a 6'1 senior at Claremore High School. I play club soccer for TUSC BLITZ-THUNDER UNITED 95 BOYS NAVY in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I'm a good athlete, I've played multiple sports at one time like Soccer, Basketball, and Football. Soccer is by far my favorite. I've played soccer since I was 5. I usually play defense at the stopper position. Sometimes my coach throws me at the midfielder position. I'm good at interspecting passes and winning balls in the air. When the ball is on the floor, I play possession like soccer, distributing the balls to the outside midfielders or if nobody is open, I can dribble and try to create a play or play my sweeper to switch the field. I also can serve good long free kicks and corners. I'm good on both of my feet when it comes to shooting. I can shoot with either foot. I want to go to a University that offers a Pre-Engineering program or a Civil Engineering program while playing soccer. I want to get a degree in Civil Engineering and start my career doing that.
