I love the game of soccer and I am extremely motivated and driven to play soccer at the collegiate level. Currently on my high school varsity team, I am the leader of the defense, demonstrating a never-quit attitude, encouraging my teammates, and shifting my play to a higher gear and digging deep to pursue or contain a "win". My key behavioral strengths are: 1) I have a deep commitment to my team and take personal responsibility to be a strong contributor to the team's success, 2) I have good character and strong moral ethics, 3) I learn from mistakes and work hard to continually improve my skills and my soccer IQ, 4) I possess a very strong "will to win" and will "never quit", 5) I lead by example to motivate my teammates, and 6) I am level-headed and keep my emotions in check, staying focused and alert in critical moments. My best skills are my speed, strength, and ability to tackle the ball hard, which allows me to win or steal the ball a high percentage of the time. I also have a high soccer IQ - being able to see the whole field and positioning myself in the right place at the right time, while staying calm under pressure.
